The academic programs of each grade are those determined by the British Columbia Ministry of Education in conjunction with the guidelines established by the Archdiocese of Vancouver. Holy Cross School is committed to providing a comprehensive education which emphasizes the potential of all learners and provides for them varied learning experiences whereby students are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, care deeply, and act wisely. Specifically, Holy Cross School encourages its students to gain a solid grounding in the teachings of Christ and to develop fundamental academic skills that promote the development of the whole child to his or her full potential in order for them to develop into Christian leaders, responsible citizens, and life-long learners.
Grade Level Overviews are provided by each Teacher on Meet The Teacher Night in September. The overviews provide parents an outline on what their child will be learning in the upcoming year and other important information. These overviews are updated on a yearly basis. Please refer to the Parent Memo for any updates relating to these notices.
