- Dec. 10 – Last day to drop off Toys for the Annual Holy Cross Advent Toy Drive (A very special thank you goes out the Families who contributed to this special Advent Outreach Program. The Toys will be delivered to the Raycam Center in East Vancouver on Wed.)
- Dec. 10 – School Choir Singing @ Brentwood Mall (The Students will walk down to the Mall @ appx. 1:00 pm and return to the School by 2:15 pm. The Performance will begin @ approx. 1:20 pm)
- Dec. 10 – Gr. 5 vs Gr. 6 Boys Exhibition Basketball Game in our Gym @ 2:25 pm
- Dec. 11 – All students are asked to bring their Costume for the Christmas Musical to School in a bag labelled with their name for a check by the Classroom Teacher. (See Memo from Mr. DeFazio for further details)
- Dec. 11 – Gr. 5, 6 & 7 Girls Basketball Jamboree vs St. Michaels starting @ 2:30 pm in our Gym
- Dec. 11 to 17 – Holy Cross Annual Advent Food Drive Begins (Non perishable Food items can be dropped off in the Boxes provided on the Upper & Lower Floors of the School)
- Dec. 12 – Hot Lunch Day (Subway Sandwiches)
- Dec. 13 – Student Council`s, Christmas Colours Day and School Dance (The Students will be eating their lunches @ 11:45 am and the Dance will begin in the Gym at Noon. Any Students wishing to be entered into the Gr. 7 Grad Lucky Prize Draw for a chance at winning 2 Lower Bowl Tickets to the Canada vs Czech. Republic World Junior Hockey Tournament Game on Dec. 29, are kindly being asked to bring in a Toonie)
- Dec. 14 – Last Day for Kindergarten Registration for New Families entering in Sept., 2019
- Dec. 14 – Last Day to donate to the Luca Hasselmann Bursary Fund (*Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the numerous contributors in our School Community)
- Dec. 19 – Christmas Musical Dress Rehearsal @ 10 am (for Students only) / Matinee Performance @ 1 pm
- Dec. 20 – Christmas Musical Morning Performance @ 10 am / Evening Performance @ 7 pm
- Dec. 21 – Last day of School before Christmas Break (School Mass @ 9:05 am; Dismissal for all Students will be @ 11 am)
**We are happy to announce that Mrs. Colibaba had a baby boy on Dec. 2. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Colibaba on the birth of baby Isaac. Miss Enza Malsegna, who recently completed the Education Program at SFU, will begin her position as the Kindergarten Teacher Replacement on Dec. 10.
*Please mark your Calendars for the Holy Cross 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner, Dance, & Auction at the Croatian Center on Feb. 9, 2019 (Tickets are now available at the School Office and through your Class Ticket Seller. Only 400 Tickets will be sold.)
