- Mar. 10 – Daylight Savings Time begins (Please move your Clocks forward 1 Hour)
- Mar. 11 – Burnaby Fire Dept. & Truck visiting with the Gr. 5 Class @ 1 pm
- Mar. 11 – Juvenile and Senior Girls Soccer Practices @ Brentwood Park from 3:05 to 4 pm
- Mar. 12 – Gr. 7 Confirmation Program: Parent / Candidate / Sponsor Meeting @ 7 pm in the Gym
- Mar. 13 – Parish Lenten Morning Mass @ 8:15 to 8:50 am in the Church for any Students from Holy Cross, who wish to attend. (Supervision for our Students will be provided by our Staff Members attending the Mass)
- Mar. 13 – Hot Lunch Day (Beef Hot Dogs)
- Mar. 13 – Holy Cross Annual General Meeting in our Gym (PLEASE NOTE THE 6:30 PM START TIME) Registration Packages for the 2019/20 School Year will be handed out and they should be returned on March 15 from 9 am to 5 pm in the Gym or on March 16 from 9 to 11 am in the School Office. Please understand that Late Fees may be applied to Registration Packages not returned by these dates. An important presentation on, “Supervising your Child`s Electronic Devices” will take place at 6:40 pm.
- Mar. 14 – Student Council`s, Green Day. (Students are welcome to come to School dressed in Green Clothing Items. Students are also kindly reminded to bring a Loonie, if they wish to enter the Lucky Prize Draw in support of the Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary.)
- Mar. 14 – Communicating Student Learning Reports will be sent home (Please sign the CSL Cover and return it at your Student Led Conference)
- Mar. 14 – Juvenile & Senior Girls Soccer Practices @ Brentwood Park from 3:05 to 4 pm
- Mar. 15 – Student Led Conferences (There are no formal classes on this day and there will be Babysitting provided in the Gym for Siblings attending the School, while their Brothers or Sisters are conferencing in the Classrooms with their Parents)
- Mar. 16 to Mar. 31 – Spring Break (School re-opens on Apr. 1 @ 8:55 am for a full day of Classes)
**DVD`S of the Annual Christmas Musical are now being sold in the Office for $10
**A very special thank you once again to the Families who supported our 60th Anniversary Gala back on Feb. 9 at the Croatian Cultural Center. Close to $45,000 was raised on that evening and the Holy Cross Elem. Staff & Students are extremely grateful! Our sincere gratitude also goes out to Nancy Scaglione, Carmine Curman, Rosie Peric, Melina Maierle, Amber Chirico, Jane Cikes and all the Parent Volunteers who helped make this wonderful evening possible.
